From Tehran to Tel Aviv – and Beyond
Born in Tehran and raised in Israel from the age of 12, Sarit Ben Shimol has reinvented herself time and again — as an immigrant, a mother of four, and today as a public speaker, coach, and DEI consultant. Her life’s journey — marked by cultural adaptation, resilience, and deep transformation — is at the heart of her mission: helping others feel seen, safe, and proud of who they are.
Sarit Ben Shimol is a DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) consultant, public speaker, and personal coach based in Israel. She is married and a proud mother of four, including a transgender son. Her personal journey of adaptation and identity is deeply interwoven with her professional mission: creating inclusive spaces for individuals, families, and organizations.
Sarit is the former CEO of Pride of Lionesses, a national Israeli support organization for parents of transgender youth. Today, she collaborates with high-tech companies, commercial organizations, municipalities, and public systems — including education, healthcare, and social welfare — to promote equity, belonging, and visibility.
She facilitates monthly support groups for parents of transgender youth and runs a private coaching practice that supports LGBTQ+ individuals and their families through identity exploration, life transitions, and family dialogue. Sarit also trains professionals and speaks at conferences about inclusive communication, emotional leadership, and family-centered DEI practices.
As a proud mother, Sarit brings a rare combination of personal insight and professional tools to every talk, workshop, and consultation. Her voice bridges cultures, generations, and communities — inspiring empathy, growth, and genuine connection.
