We live in a colorful and diverse world — a world where each of us has opinions, perceptions and paradigms we grew up with, that became inseparable from our lives. And yet, the moment comes when we have to deal with something different.
All of us face change — some of it initiated by a desire for improvement, and some imposed on us, where we have to find a way to cope.
My personal experience — especially around my son coming out as a transgender teenager back in 2017 — opened a new world for me, and led me to see reality in a clearer, sharper way.
People with diverse sexual or gender identity may experience difficulty in daily routines, both personally and professionally. They may face challenges finding work, discrimination, and sometimes harsh reactions from systems that don't know how to hold space for difference.
This, of course, is also relevant for other populations — women, the Arab community, people coping with mental health challenges, people with physical disabilities and more.
For over 35 years I've accompanied people and organizations through change, learning how to take control and lead to success. I decided to be part of the change and create a better future.
