Accessibility statement.
Sarit Ben Shimol's website was built with the aim of meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We continually work to maintain and improve accessibility across the site.
01Our commitment to accessibility
We see web accessibility as an integral part of our commitment to every user — including people with disabilities. Our aim is for everyone to be able to browse, understand and use the site independently and with full dignity.
The site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. (In the Hebrew version, additional compliance with Israeli Standard SI 5568 and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, applies.)
02Accessibility tools on the site
On every page, you can open the floating accessibility button — a person icon in a blue circle, in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Clicking it opens a panel of assistive tools.
- Increase / decrease text size (4 levels)
- High contrast mode — black on white, distractions removed
- Highlight links (bold underline and emphasized borders)
- Stop animations and transitions
- Enlarged mouse cursor
- Reset all settings to defaults
03Additional accessibility measures
- Full keyboard navigation — all links, buttons and forms are accessible via Tab/Enter
- Clear focus indicators on interactive elements
- Proper semantic tagging (HTML5 landmarks, h1-h6, label, aria-*)
- Color contrast meeting WCAG AA
- Alternative text (ALT) for content images
- Avoidance of flashing content and auto-playing audio
- Support for assistive technologies (screen readers) via semantic structure
04Known limitations
In some cases — particularly third-party embeds (YouTube videos, external maps) — some features may not be fully accessible. We continually work to fix and improve, and we invite you to report any issue you encounter.
